![]() Stephen BairfeltJoint Managing Director
Stephen has worked in market research for more than 20 years.
He specialises in retail, finance, consumer and energy markets both in the UK and across the globe. He has extensive experience in Europe, North America and the Far East. Stephen is very comfortable with a wide spectrum of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and is a frequent speaker and trainer at industry conferences and seminars.
Before setting up his own company, Stephen was Head of Research at Shell UK for 5 years and prior to this was a director at Research International (London and New York) and the Research Business International. He is also a member of and highly active in the MRS, ESOMAR, AIMRI, ICG and the Marketing Society.
Stephen lives in Barnet with his wife and two children.

![]() Trevor WilkinsonJoint Managing Director
Trevor has over 20 years experience in market research, including time at research agencies AGB, BMRB and ORC. He has specialised for the last 15 years in business-to-business and customer satisfaction research.
He is a research specialist working in the area of business relationships, be they with personnel within an organisation, with customers or with suppliers. He has a broad background in research, including media whilst working for AGB's Television Audience Research Division, consumer research with Mass Observation, and latterly customer satisfaction measurement with Gordon Simmons Research and BMRB.
Trevor is Chairman of the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) Forum, which organises meetings on specialist business-to-business subjects. He has written extensively on business-to-business topics (for Research Magazine and BIGNews among others). He has run training seminars on market analysis and business-to-business research and has also run workshops and presented papers at the BIG Conference.
Trevor is married with three children and lives in Ealing.

Chris Hadley has over 18 years experience in the delivery of marketing support to clients. Formerly with ECOTEC, he began operating independently in 1994 and has subsequently worked with a range of organisations as well as being the UNIDO's UK environmental expert for three years.
Chris specialises in the environmental, energy and technology markets and has worked extensively across the UK, Europe and beyond. He has an extensive track record in market forecasting working with UK governemnt departments and private companies. In the area of market research he has a strong grounding in both quantitative and qualitative methods as well as having considerable experience in the delivery of strategic marketing support as part of growth and M&A activity.
Chris has a BSc in Geography and a Diploma in Marketing. He has been a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing since 1995 while being a Chartered Marketer since 1997.
He is married, lives in north Manchester and has two children.
Emma BarnesAccounts support
Emma is our accounts person. She has been working with Purple for for 3 years now and likes to think she has brought something different to the team. She has been in accounts for 12 years. Prior to this she worked as a sales manager in the electronics industry.
Emma is qualified for payroll through the IPP and qualified as a book-keeper throught the Institute of Certified Book-keepers. Outside of work she loves watching films and travelling to different cities around the world.
